    CONDITION:
    VERY GOOD condition.  Approximate size is
    9 1/4" X 5 3/4"
    in size.

    In the Antietam Campaign:
    Age 31, an
    apothecary in Boston
    on commissioning as First Lieutenant in July 1861. Promoted Captain 6 November 1861. He was wounded in action on 17 September 1862.
    The remainder of the War:
    Wounded again in action at Gettysburg, PA on 1 July 1863. Commissioned Lieutenant Colonel of the regiment on 16 April 1864.
