Antique Royal Vienna Angelica Kaufmann Cobalt Gold Gilt Porcelain Portrait Vase

Offered for sale is a stunning antique Royal Vienna portrait vase manufactured in Austria during the early 1900s.  The vase is made of porcelain with a cobalt blue exterior accented in lavish hand-painted gold gilt designs around the portrait, the foot, top rim, body, and handles of the base.  The portrait features cupid with a maiden and the bottom of the vase is marked with the Royal Vienna beehive trademark and the scene title "Poesie", which I believe refers to a series of mythological poems and stories from ancient times.  The vase stands about 11 3/4" tall and it has open handles.
The overall condition of the vase is excellent.  There are no chips, cracks, or repaired areas.  The hand-painted details have little wear with some gold loss to the foot rim, handles, and top rim, but it is very minor.  The porcelain is clean and the interior shows no sign of use.  The trademarks on the bottom are easy to read and there is expected light surface wear to the vase.  You will treasure this piece!
