Antique ROYAL VIENNA Porcelain Portrait Cupid Plate Beehive Framed Letter Writer

Description

A beautiful hand painted full body portrait plate enclosed in a glass front shadow box frame…signed and made by the Royal Vienna porcelain Company. Depicts a full body maiden seated outside and writing a letter with the helpfulness of a young cherub child. Hand painted and gold gilding decoration. Marked on the back of the plate with the traditional blue beehive mark. Artist signature not found.
Measures a full 14 inches square and 2 inches deep. The glass window measures 12 1/8 inch square. The plate measures 9 3/8 inch across.  Weighs 4 pounds 6 ounces unboxed.
Condition is excellent as there are NO chips, cracks, scratches, internal staining or repairs present to the plate. The frame is sturdy and strong….minor edge scratches and wear to frame, there is 1 crack to frame edge (see close-up photo). Original glass, NO chips, cracks or scratches present.  Small water mark near inside edge of blue fabric matting (see close-up photo).
