Authentic Royal Vienna Hand Painted Birds Blue Bows Pink Gold Cup & Saucer C1787
Nice porcelain cup and saucer. Decorated with a pink fishscale border above hand painted floral garlands in pink, purple, orange, and yellow with blue bows and gold scrollwork. Also has small birds painted under the garlands. Has a matching garland around the center of the saucer. The interior and handle of the cup are fully gilded. Marked on the bottom with the blue underglaze shield mark used by the Imperial Vienna factory. Also has an impressed two digit 87 date code for 1787.
Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
The cup measures approximately 3 7/8 inches wide including the handle x 2 5/8 inches tall.
The saucer measures approximately 5 1/2 inches wide.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
