    Description

    During the so-called "prohibition years," ( Jan. 17, 1920 to Dec. 5, 1933,
    Coors turned the Colorado
brewery into a cement manufacturing plant
    ,
and also a plant that fashioned scientific and chemical products made from porcelain.  The clay soil around the brewery was especially conducive to the manufacturing of porcelain.
These dozen porcelain lids fit the laboratory vials that the factory produced.
Some light pencil scribbling on the box, which is otherwise in pristine condition.
