    Description

    Royal Vienna Portrait Tray .Cobalt and gold. enamel Gold beading. 11 3/4 inches long and 8 1/4” wide. All the Royal Vienna marks as shown in photo. The most rare handles. I have been selling antiques for many years and I have never seen women’s heads as handles as shown in pictures. The woman inside the gold beading is beautiful in flowing dress and has a butterfly on her hand.  It is signed Matois inside the Cameo picture. There is wear to the gold where it was picked up by the servant as shown in photo. I think it authenticates it's age.. I have had it in my collection for 20 years.  I also have a Vase or Ferner listed currently with the same numbering on the back and same decor.
