Royal Vienna Porcelain Urn 19" Vase with Lid
This is magenta with gilt Vienna porcelain vase standing on a stand.
The vase is Austrian, circa 1900.
The vase has a blue underglaze ‘Beehive’ mark.
It is
finely painted with classical scenes to the front and to the back on a rich magenta ground with gilt decoration. The vase is mounted by gilt handles, please note some gilt is worn out.
The vase is raised on the stand.
Vienna porcelain is the product of the Vienna Porcelain Manufactory
a porcelain manufacturer in Alsergrund in Vienna, Austria. It was founded in 1718.
Production being almost exclusively for the imperial household and the court nobility.
