A Royal Vienna Portrait Vase
8 3/4" tall
the body is Burgundy Lustre with heavy gold, gold paste and gold beading decoration all around
and a medallion framed by raised gold flowers, beads, leaves and scrolls
features a veiled woman with long loose brown hair and plain robe
on a cream pink background
The neck is finely tapered with a ball near top and 7/8" lip
2 1/4" of gold work at top of neck
No chips or cracks
but there are 2 scratches on the woman's face, see close up photo
from nose, through lips, and one extends to chin
