    Description

    Royal Vienna Style Hand Painted Blonde Lady Portrait Cobalt & Gold Trinket Box
    Nice antique late 19th / early 20th century porcelain trinket box. Decorated in the Royal Vienna with. The lid has a hand painted portrait of a blonde woman framed by gold gilt scrollwork with some raised embellisments and a cobalt background. The bottom of the box is decorated in cobalt blue with gold scrollwork and net/lattice designs with raised sections to some of the scrolls. Marked on the bottom with an underglaze blue pseudo / spurious beehive/shield mark.
    Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
    Measures approximately 3 1/4 inches long x 2 5/8 inches wide x 1 3/4 inches tall.
    This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
