Royal Vienna Style Hand Painted Neoclassical Figures Red Beaded Raised Gold Urn
Nice small size porcelain urn. Decorated in the Royal Vienna style with a Neoclassical scene with hand painted Greco Roman figures, trees, and mountains. Has a band of gold with small gold beads above and below the scene. Overall red maroon background with raised gold floral swags and bows. Gold gilding along the rim. Marked on the bottom with a pseudo / spurious blue "beehive" / shield mark on the base. Late 19th or early 20th century.
Has some wear to the gilding and numerous losses to the beading around the scene, but otherwise good condition.
Measures approximately 2 5/8 inches wide x 6 inches tall to the top of the lid finial.
This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
