    Description

    Royal Vienna Style Hand Painted Portrait Jeweled Heavy Gold & Maroon Luster Vase
    Stunning porcelain vase. Hand painted in the Royal Vienna style with a portrait of a brunette woman on the front framed by heavy gold gilding with raised gold beading, raised gold flower designs, and aqua jewels. The overall background of the vase is painted in a maroon luster, with raised gold gilt Art Nouveau style flowers. Gold gilding to the handles. Signed by the artist Fardi. Marked on the bottom with a blue beehive/shield mark above Austria. Probably late 19th/early 20th century.
    Has some wear, but otherwise good condition with no chips, cracks, or loss to the jeweling.
    Measures approximately 4 inches wide x 8 7/8 inches tall.
