    Royal Vienna Style Hand Painted Signed Ullnior Greek Women At Well Dessert Plate
    Very pretty porcelain dessert plate. Decorated in the Royal Vienna style with a hand painted scene of two Greek or Roman women at the well. One is wearing pink and yellow and the other is wearing blue and white. Both have blonde hair.  One woman is pouring water from the well bucket into a large crock and the other is carrying a basket on a pole. With a border of maroon with gold gilt scrolls, and gold with a white floral scrollwork design through the center, and a ring of gold moriage beading around the central image. With five rectangles through the border of pale green with gold gilt scrollwork and diamonds with raised gilt crosses. Signed by the artist Ullnior. Marked on the reverse with a blue overglaze beehive/shield mark. Circa 1900.
    Has some very minor wear to the gilding, mostly to two of the gold crosses, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
    Measures 6 1/2" wide.
