Listed here is an USAF Air Force District of Washington Security Police Crest Badge Beret which is now obsolete.  This beret would have been worn by
USAF Air Force District of Washington
Security Police from 1976 to 1997.
The beret would have been worn for regular duties.
The beret itself is US size 7 or metric size 56 with a leather band, unlined on the inside and has a black wool exterior
and was manufactured by Bancroft Cap Company.  This beret would make a great addition to any militaria or law enforcement collection and
is now being brought to the wide world with this eBay listing.  It is extremely rare to come across items with the
Air Force District of Washington insignia of any kind.
