Vintage Paper Prescription COCAINE Cairncross & Lawrence London, Ontario 1920s
Original paper prescription slip from Lamont’s Drug Store in Wortley Village, London, Ontario, Canada. This prescription clearly reads “cocaine” among other items on the front, and was made out to a “M. Heustin (?). There is no date on the document but it was found with other prescriptions dating to the 1920-1925 era.
On the rear side is a printed prescription advertising for Cairncross & Lawrence Limited Prescription Chemists at 216 Dundas St.
Dimensions of the slip are 18 cm by 10 cm. It is in fair condition having been folded several times at various intervals of its use.
