WAHL EVERSHARP OVERSIZED GOLD SEAL SIGNATURE PEN, PEARL & BLACK, GFT, LF, c1928

Description

This listing is for a circa 1928  well used but excellent oversized WAHL-EVERSHARP GOLD SEAL SIGNATURE PEN  in black & pearl. This 5-5/16" pen  has extensive gold filled trim and is a lever filler.  The trim has a ring at the top of the cap, below an inlaided double check gold seal, marked roller ball clip and triple cap bands. The center band is quite wide and has an machined Greek Key  design on a line background. On the barrel the lever filler also has good trim but with some very minor brassing on the usual high point. The lever filler will need new sac and and probably a new j-bar before it will take up ink. The plastic color are pretty good with some toning at the top of the cap and toning on the barrel...not as prominent as the photos. The top of the cap has a blizzard of really tiny teeth marks which appear well worn and not particularly distracting.  The big 14K nib is marked WAHL EVERSHARP, GOLD SEAL, SIGNATURE. It's very clean, probably a medium point, straight with good iridium and modest flexibility.
