WWII / WW2 Japanese Army, ARISAKA Rifle Bayonet & Scabbard, Marked to HOWA JYUKO Arsenal in OSAKA, Japan, Nice Condition.
Original WWII Japanese Army, WWII Japanese Military, Arisaka Rifle Bayonet, Manufacture Marked to the “HOWA JYUKO Arsenal in Osaka, Japan & Original Steel Scabbard with some WWII Battle Damage.
The WWII Japanese Rifle Bayonet is full length and the Bayonet Blade is in very nice condition with the WWII Japanese Arsenal Markings (see pictures).
The Wooden Handle is in very nice condition and is complete with no cracks or chips in the wood.
The barrel locking mechanism in the handle works nicely.
The Serial Number on the end of the Pommel is “64800”.
The Bayonet fits nice and tightly into its steel Scabbard and snaps into place when fully slid into the Scabbard.
The Scabbard has a couple of Bullet Dents or Shrapnel dents in the lower area of the Scabbard (see pictures).
The small bullet impacts did not go through to the Bayonet Blade and are only superficial to the steel scabbard itself.
The small screw steel band on the top area of the Scabbard is missing the small screw which probably popped out when the Scabbard was hit with the Bullets or Shrapnel?
The Steel Band which is missing the small screw is not loose on the Scabbard and is still tightly attached to the Scabbard.
The Bayonet Blade is nice and straight and measures about 15 ¾” inches in length.
The entire WWII Japanese Rifle Bayonet measures about 20 ¼” inches in length.
The Bayonet is nice and tight with no looseness.
